There’s a series on English TV called Freaky Eaters.  The premise is simple: each episode features a person with a bizarre eating habit. A nutritionist and psychologist work with them to conquer their fears about food.  Common eating afflictions are addictions to french fries, cheese, pasta, bread. Almost everyone is sickened by just the thought of vegetables and fruit.  Oftentimes they have no idea how fresh food is grown or even what it looks like.  No kidding.

The process of getting these people to embrace fresh and cooked food that the average person eats is astounding.  I’ve pasted a link below to my favorite episode as of yet.  He’s not quite a typical Freaky Eater, but his experience has been particularly fascinating to me.  I don’t want to talk about it too much because you really need to just jump in and watch it.  Because it’s on Youtube you’ll have to watch it in 10 minute increments.  So it’s not like you’re committing to too much at once!
