I recently bought a new box of watercolors and I realized I have no idea which colors are in the box, and what they look like on paper. I think it looks like I was documenting some major ideas. But it’s really just a cheat sheet, I suppose. Colorful, though.
As you may know, I’ve been painting dog portraits. And I think I just got about the best compliment ever:

I had a hankering to do some painting last night.
I Googled “cute dog photos” to get my painting subjects. Can’t say they were particularly cute, but they made for good models– didn’t hear them complaining about posing for me.
The real reason I wanted a SLR camera.
It may be new camera syndrome. All of the sudden, everything in my house became super interesting. Even in low light I’m taking photos that exceed my expectations (it’s like I’m in a trance!)

Many years ago I had a landlady who loved her ginko tree. The power company came around to trim around the power lines and they gave her ginko a pruning. They did an okay job but they were a little over-zealous.
When she found out about it, she cried.
