Well, that was not the photo I really wanted to show you, but I just had to mention that everyone in NYC seemed to be wearing black boots. With their skinny jeans tucked into them (doesn’t anyone suffer from foot claustrophobia?)

So I wish I had a better photo but in all my searching on the internet, no one seems to have captured these urban ladies in their footwear. I can’t say the boots were slouchy like the ones above. The important part is the notch in the back. This was ubiquitous. Why didn’t I snap a photo? You need to be following these trends! Oh wait, we’re at the tail end already.
